About
Adam obtained a BSc in Psychology at Lancaster University before completing a Masters in Research Psychology at Manchester University. He then worked at an acquired brain injury rehabilitation centre prior to working at the Spectrum Centre for Mental Health Research.
Adam’s main research interests lie in the management of cognitive difficulties such as those experienced by people with bipolar disorder, psychosis and acquired brain injuries. Specifically, research involving the development and provision of effective coping mechanisms. Adam also maintains a keen interest in the neurological basis of cognitive difficulties.
Adam is currently working at the Spectrum Centre on the REACT (relatives’ education and coping toolkit) project.
