About
Daniel is based in Hong Kong, currently undertaking a PhD program at Lancaster University in E-Research and Technology-Enhanced Learning (Cohort 4, 2011). Daniel's research interest is in Mobile Learning Cloud.
Beside his fervent interest in Mobile Learning, Daniel is an entrepreneurial strategy consultant with operating experience. He has a MBA, a M.InfoTech and Graduate Diploma in Marketing. He found a company in 2009 currently being incubated at HK Cyberport IncuTrain Center in developing KM E-Learning applications. Daniel had 20+ years commercial experience in business development and marketing in telecom, media, internet and consumer goods. Daniel is also an inventor having 2 patents filed with the company that he worked for previously for which he helped won RedDot Design, HK Consumer Product Design, and HK Stationery award in 2009 alone.
His company - Art Group Limited won awards like Red Herring Asia 100 most innovative startup in 2010, Asia Pacific Mobile Learning Initiative 2010 by APACMLEAP, and also a member of World Entrepreneurship Forum.
