Thesis Title: Parliament Politics: A material semiotic analysis of representative democracy

About

In September I finished my dissertation, which is a material-semiotic analysis of liberal democracy. Physically in Berlin, mentally oscillating between Budapest and Lancaster, I spent the past few years making Hungary little less exotic a place for democratic theorists, the parliament little less exotic an object for STS scholars, and archaeology little less exotic a method for Hungarians.

If you're interested in reading more about my PhD, you might want to have a look at a blog called Installing (Social) Order (http://www.installingorder.org/), where I was guest blogging in October.
