Susan Condor is Professor of Social Psychology at Lancaster University, UK.
Her research interests concern the social psychology of public reason. This includes: (1) Self-understanding in a societal context: social identity and especially (English) national identity. (2) Prejudice, ethnocentrism, stereotyping and racism. (3) Citizenship, civility and social solidarity. (4) Everyday understandings of historical and political events and processes. (5) Perceptions of social structure, authority and legitimacy. (6) Dilemmetic aspects of liberal ideology.
